It's all happening

Hi everyone, as we approach the end of November things are really starting to move on all fronts for us.  Firstly and importantly I'm sure a lot of you will already know snow has started falling in the resort and Chatel is covered in the lovely white stuff, great first signs for the new season.

So many good things are happening with SkiHire2U it's difficult to know where to start, anyway here goes.  Firstly a big thank you to our partner chalets who have signed up with us this season.  We're really looking forward to working with you and giving you and your clients a great service.  We've also had quite a few private bookings and we look forward to meeting you all when you come to Chatel.  


Secondly, the extension to the workshop is really taking place and will be finished in a week which allows us to keep all our stock right next to our servicing department.  We'll put some pictures on our website once the work is finished.  


On the servicing front all the equipment has been installed and is working well, the next few weeks will be spent preparing all the new skis and snowboards ready for the first week of the season.  We also have our new IT system being installed next week that will see the introduction of handheld computers to take out onto our customer sites with our barcode readers that will speed up the admin side of our business giving us even more time to make sure we supply and fit the very best options / sizes to our customers.  


Finally we have the van fully logo’d up.  Well that has made an impact judging by your positive comments to us, everyone certainly knows we are here now...check out our facebook page for the pictures.

Thanks for taking the time to read our blog.  We'll update it again in a couple of weeks so keep checking and fingers crossed that the snow continues to fall all season.

Getting Ready

Well things are really hotting up now. We're sat in a Premier Inn in Kendal UK midway through the advanced ski preparation course which has been really good.  It's amazing what you can do with skis and snowboards to really tech them up and the difference this can make to your performance is incredible.  I can't wait to get back and completely redesign the base of my snowboard.
All the ski preparation equipment arrives in Chatel on Friday so it's going to be a manic time getting it all installed and then the first batch of skis arrive next week, everyone is welcome to pop down and have a look.  I've been using the exact machines we're getting and the finished result on skis and snowboards is awesome.
One of us will be updating this site every week from now on so keep coming back to see how we are getting on.

First Post

Well things are really moving now, the snow has started falling on the tops of the mountains and everything is in place for the delivery in October of all the winter skis, snowboards and equipment.  There is plenty of work to do to get everything in place for the winter. 

SkiHire2U will be the best place to come for all your ski and snowboard hire equipment so our focus over the next month or so is to get everything into place and to start work preparing all the skis and snowboards for the season.  It looks like being a great season and the feedback we have from our clients is that it is going to be a busy one as well.  So let's all keep our fingers crossed that the snow arrives soon and who knows, like last year the lifts might open early.  Come back soon to check out some pictures of everything arriving.
